Whatnot fee calculator
Whatnot switched to tiered, category-based commission on September 21, 2026. Pick your category and tier to see your fees and real profit.
Fees checked October 21, 2026 against Whatnot's official pagesHow Whatnot fees work (since September 21, 2026)
Whatnot charges a commission on the item's sale price (not on shipping or tax) and a payment processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 on the total the buyer pays, including shipping and tax.
The commission now depends on two things: the category of the show or product, and your total sales over a rolling 28-day period, which sets your tier for the next period.

Whatnot also has a high-value fee cap (0% commission on the part of a sale above $1,500) for comics, toys, coins, TCG and sports singles. Whatnot describes it as running for a limited time, so it is off by default here; tick it if it still applies to you. Promotional rates and the Premier Shop discount (ending October 31, 2026) are not included.
